Recha
Grew up in a small town called Lucerne, situated in the heart of Switzerland. Recha started snowboarding at the young age of fourteen and is now a dedicated snowboarder. Studying in Zurich where she is majoring in Communications but also Business and eastern European history. She is loving city life but is always missing the snowy Swiss alps. Recha has a very interesting part time job which is being a food critic! She also does a lot of modelling in the snowboarding industry. Always travelling as she says, she constantly has the 'travelling bug'. Therefore she sums up to be our perfect Roxy heart ambassador!
Saas Fee with Henry Holland
By Recha | Novembre 26, 2010
Henry Holland and myself.

Two weeks ago, I was invited to go to Saas Fee, for the launch of the winter collection, designed by Henry Holland. My first days in the snow this season, I couldn't wait to leave the city and get out of the "grey soup", as we call it in Switzerland. The whole Roxy/Quicksilver crew got up to the picturesque village situated in southern Switzerland. On the opening night there was a fashion show at Living Room where we presented the new Roxy and Quicksilver snow- and streetwear and the Roxy Heart Collection by Henry Holland. We had great fun and perfect days in SF, due to the great snow conditions and the good crew. November and little powder? Sure a good combination! Vogue Fashion-TV and lots of other media people were there and Herny had to give interviews constantly. I was happy going snowboarding again and enjoying the sun. It's always good to go up to Saas Fee in autumn because you see so many people you haven't for a while and everyone is always in a good mood after the summer break.

But why am I writing this all... Well it's easy and simple. I'm a very clumsy person and I tend to have a lack of physical coordination whilst doing normal daily activities, like walking along the street. Anyway, yesterday after lunch on my way to the library, I managed to fall over and hurt my ligaments on my left foot super badly! Torn or not, now laying on the couch at home, foot high up in the air, waiting for the swelling to walk out the door again. I am officially pissed off, why NOW? Season opening in all the small resorts are due on the following two weekends and I am organizing an Inhouse (Flea-) Market on Saturday here in Zürich. Oh well, more time to study!

This is a shout out to all the injured girls out there who are stuck on the couch too!
Sing with me: Pain, pain, go away, please come back another day!

Yours, Recha.

PS: Yes, Henry Holland's hair even keeps standing up like that after wearing a beanie and after a day of snowboarding, I think it's magic!

Who's that girl?
By Recha | Novembre 17, 2010

All the way from Switzerland, hello my name is Recha Foffa. Now you might ask yourself, who is that girl? Why is she even writing a blog? And what is she writing about? Those are the questions I've been asking myself during the past few days, when I got told, I had to start writing a blog on the Roxy Heart page. First of all, thanks to Roxy Heart, for giving me the opportunity to be their Swiss Ambassador. I've been on the boat for a year now and it's been great fun. Days in the Snow in Saas Fee with the whole Roxy/Quicksilvercrew, Fashionshows and many more happenings, I was able to be part of. Don't forget the fact, that I'm in the most comfortable situation of having the best clothes selection in my wardrobe since I'm with Roxy Heart. I don't even know where to start.

I might as well just start today. The good days of the pretty autumn are over, it's raining! Good morning Zürich! Grey, rain, cold, windy and too busy to leave the city to go snowboarding. All the webcams I've checked this morning showed photos of snow covered peaks. Not really the day you want to get out of bed, more so, the day, you just want to stay in and drink tea all day and read a good book. I guess I'm just not really ready for the city winter yet. I decided to just put up with it and left the house to go to university. Thanks to friends and a great sushi lunch it ended up being a good and entertaining day anyhow.

The question of who am I, can't be answered at this point. I guess you'll just have to find that out step by step. I'm Recha and I'd love to show you my world, the places I get to go to and the things that bother me from time to time.
